Comprehensive Psychiatric Care

Initial Evaluation Your first appointment is a comprehensive 90 minute evaluation where we'll discuss your current concerns, history, goals for treatment, and develop an initial treatment plan together. I'll take time to understand not just your symptoms, but your whole story—what brought you here and where you want to go.

Ongoing Psychotherapy Regular therapy sessions (typically 45 minutes) where we explore patterns, process experiences, develop new skills, and work toward your goals. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to your needs.

I integrate various therapeutic approaches including:

  • Mindfulness-based interventions

  • Self-compassion practices

  • Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP)

  • Insight-oriented psychotherapy

  • Cognitive-behavioral strategies

Medication Management When appropriate, psychiatric medications can be a valuable part of your treatment plan. I prescribe thoughtfully and conservatively, always considering the full picture of your health. Medication appointments include time to discuss how you're doing, adjust dosages, monitor for side effects, and ensure medications are supporting your overall goals.

Integrative & Functional Psychiatry Using my training in Functional Medicine, I offer a deeper dive into factors that may be contributing to your mental health challenges:

  • Nutritional deficiencies and dietary factors

  • Gut health and the gut-brain connection

  • Hormonal imbalances

  • Sleep quality and circadian rhythm

  • Stress and inflammation

  • Targeted supplement recommendations

  • Lifestyle modifications

This approach is ideal for individuals who want to address root causes, have tried traditional treatment without success, or prefer a more holistic path to wellness.
